Thing 0 - 3 questions

1. What makes a good blog? A good blog is one that is organized, easy to follow, colorful, and matches my interests!
2. How could blogs enhance your classroom? I  believe blogs have the ability to enhance my classroom greatly. They will open the lines of communication between the students and myself and between the students themselves. Blogs will also allow my students to share their thoughts and influence the direction of learning...to actually be ACTIVE participants in their education. The possibilities are endless.
3. Are blogs an easier way for people to self publish? Yes, I believe so. It's a FREE way for folks to say what they have to say! Anyone and everyone can see it and respond to it.

21 Things - Getting Started

During this course I hope to learn about all the cool tools I can use in my classroom. I think the middle school students (and Barack Obama) will think it's pretty sweet!

Hey Friends!
I'm really excited about creating a blog. I think I'll be writing on here for quite some time. I'm currently sitting at the DIISD in my first session of the "21 THINGS for 21st Educators" course. I think I'll be learning a lot!
